Naiya is five foot two, and a slight girl. She's got a perfectly unblemished complexion, no scars and snowy white skin. Her eyes are a deep black and large for her face, but seem to somehow balance with the other features of her face which are somewhat undersized. Her ears aren't even close to human like, but are more like a mix between a foxes and a cat's and are covered in a snowy white luxuriant fur. They move to her emotions, perking up when she is interested or curious, drooping to the sides when she is sad, embarrassed, or shy, and laying flat against her head when she is fighting, (to keep them from being chopped off) angered, annoyed, or trying to hide them to blend in. Her long and shiny hair is the same color as the fur that coats her ears, and it cascades down her back like a rambling avalanche, all the way to her lower back. If taken, a single strand of her hair is completely transparent, a flexible crystal, and if reiatsu is directed through it, it would project a sparkling rainbow of colors. The white avalanche continues to the floor though, due to her long and fluffy tail which spreads behind her where her hair leaves off. Her tail is just as animated as her ears, but more used for balance and dexterous turns, only sometimes wagging when she is in a state of complete bliss, or tucking when she is terrified or cowed.
Naiya wears a traditional Priestess Kimono. The top is a pure snow white, with crimson ties and bow and sash, which matches well with the long and flowing blood red skirt. The priestess garb looks as if it was made for someone who was five years older than her, covering every bit of flesh below her neck, obscuring her arms and feet most of the time. but that is just the style, and of course it is tailored to her body. She wears the reed sandals that all Shinigami wear though under that, but any that witness her preference in footwear, usually accompany the experience with the remembrance of loosened teeth and a brief time of blackness due to the small foot (with unnatural weight behind it) that knocked them unconscious. She has two other accessories that do not particularly go with the kimono, and one that does. The first is a pair of white gold earrings, within which are set a thumbnail sized black gem each. These gems are made of her former shinigami's body, which had been drained dry of reiatsu, becoming black reiatsu gems. The earrings are completely hidden when she tries to hide her ears, and the backs are hidden in the fur, while the gems are cupped the laid down ears. The second accessory is a string of black spheres that circle her neck, made of the same black crystal. The third accessory is something plain though, just ivory and crimson hair ribbons that twine and twist in her hair to keep it out of her face.
Personality: Naiya is a girl who likes her personal space. Her shinigami told her that she might be put to death if anyone found out exactly what she was and how she came to be. The Zanpakto rebellion and following slaughter of Sword Beasts confirmed the sentiment that she shouldn't reveal what she was to anyone who would know what they were looking at. She has a fiery temper to those who try to get close to her, and ask personal questions. If someone was to casually touch her, she has finely honed instincts to quickly and ruthlessly hurt them so they won't do so ever again. When caught with her ears or tail in sight, and asked about it them, she simply explains that she is a disowned Kitsune, and was shunned by Inuri, banished to Soul Society. Of course that isn't the case, but she doesn't know anyone who could tell the difference between what she is and what she says she is.
If there were anyone to ever get past the great wall that she has erected between herself and all those around her, they would find a caring and compassionate person who, while isn't good with humor, other than sarcasm, likes to laugh at the simple things in life, and appreciates every moment of the beauty of the reiatsu crafted world around her. She would be a completely loyal friend, who would put her friend's life above her own in a blink of an eye, placing herself between any danger and her friends. She would even allow her secret to be known by anyone if it would keep her companions from death or a complete mental breakdown.
When Naiya is fighting, she goes slightly feral. She uses every bodily and natural resource possible, to down her opponent in the shortest amount of time. She, not unlike the craftiness of a fox, will use the resources available to her in a smart and concise way though, instead of just going wild. The things she knows won't work will only be used as feints, to cover up that which she is sure will obliterate the opposition. If she knows the battle will have to be drawn out long, she will use as little reiatsu as she can, until her opponent starts to tire, so that her attacks will be more effective. If it is going to be a short, explosion of a fight, she will give it her all as soon as possible, if only to throw off her nemesis.
Naiya is honest in absolutely everything, except the one of course, and everyone that knows her, knows that they can take her word for what it is. She doesn't try to twist her words to say truth while meaning something completely different, except when being sarcastic, and even then she will tell the person she was being sarcastic. She expects the exact same from everyone she deals with, and they know that as well. Anyone who has ever tried to cheat her, lie to her, or be deceptive in any other way is never completely trusted again, and will be dealt with as little as possible from that point forward.
Naiya's sarcasm is one big flaw in her character though, and it has put many a person off from trying to get close to her. It gets laid on thick when people are trying to do just that because she doesn't want her one secret that she keeps to get out. That sarcasm is sharper than a zanpakto and cuts deeper than a headman's axe at times. She has learned that the sarcasm works well to drive people off, and she employs it to her best advantage, in tandem with her brute strength when people try to touch her without permission, which is never, ever given anyway.
If confronted by a Hollow or Arrancar, Naiya will, nine times out of ten, immediately pick a fight. This behavior is deep in her makeup and is part of her as a Zanpakto. When she picks the fight, she will do everything in her power to destroy said hollow. Visards now, they completely confuse her. They are partially hated hollow, and partically feared shinigami. From these, nine times out of ten, she will put as much distance between them and her as quickly as possible. That one time though, will be her undoing, because she will treat it as a hollow, and try to kill it. It hasn't happened yet though, since hollowification seems to be a newer trend.

Energy Manipulation - Crystallize: She can condense her own reiatsu and soul society's reishi (objects in soul society) to the point of altering or creating their physical makeup to that of crystal. As she does so, it becomes like her her own reiatsu, like a piece of her crystal zanpakto. This crystallization happens somewhat slowly, moving from her point of contact outward in a rough diameter up to twenty feet from the point of contact.
-Crystal Properties: The condensed reiatsu crystal is very different than normal crystal, first because they are just as hard and can be as sharp as a zanpakto, and second because they don't prism light, but any reiatsu that goes through them. Claimed reiatsu that touches this crystal enters and diffuses into a light spray of harmless reiatsu light that is of every color imaginable
Crystal Shards: With just pulling back her reiatsu in a line on the crystal, she can break pieces off, which she calls shards. These shards can further be shaped in the same way to create nearly any small item. She keeps a few of these shards on her at all times, shaped as weapons and hidden on her person, usually sheathed through the chains that wrap her body.
-1. Kunai: Used as any regular Kunai, though they are harder to see because they are not metal.
-2. Darts/Throwing Needles: These slight bits of crystal, when thrown, are nearly invisible, even more so than normal metal needles, because of the way they bend the light. They are crafted in such a way that instead of reflecting light toward their target, they bend the light back and away, though they light up like Vegas when reiatsu passes through them, or the other way around.
-3. Caltrop: These crystal caltrops have eight spikes, so that they have a spike pointing in every direction and are small, only two inches in diamater form opposing points. They are also hard to see for the same reason the darts are, and of course, they aren't just for throwing on the grown to get stepped on, but running into when they hang in mid air, usually used as mines for an unwary shinigami to Shunpo into.
-4. Crystal Dust: This dust is mainly used as an irritant, and trap, because it is very hard to remove once it gets on someone, sticking to any porous surface.
Crystal Kido: If holding a shard in her hand, she can pull the reiatsu out of it, using the reiatsu in it to create crystal Kido spells. These spells, unless bolstered by her own reiatsu store are weak though, because they lack the pressure that a person's reiatsu would. She can not use the shards to heal anyone though because of the purity and lack of pressure of the reiatsu used in the spells.
Sense of self: As stated above, these shards become part of her. If concentrating on a specific shard or group of shards that are in the same area, she can see through the shards as if they were her own eyes, though what she sees is imprinted directly to her and is hard to cloud by illusions. Naiya also feels a tug on her reiatsu if a source of reiatsu comes within twenty five feet of a shard.
Shard disposal: Given a day, any shard that is more than 100 yards from Naiya will disintegrate into crystal dust and blow away. If these shards are unused, and from an object that she crystallized, the reiatsu disperses and returns to that object, making it whole again. If the crystal is from her zanpakto, it simply goes into the air if left to dissipate on it's own. She can also dismiss the shard early to infuse whatever the shard is touching with her own reiatsu to give anyone who is looking for her reiatsu an extra source.
Reiatsu Dependency: Naiya is not quite considered dead, like the denizens of Soul Society, but neither is she quite as alive as the people of earth. She is a zanpakto that her shinigami had given life to by letting Naiya absorb her reiatsu completely. She was born in soul society which is chalk full of high quality reiatsu. This has effected her in such a manor that she has become dependent on having high quality reiatsu all around her. She can travel away from Soul Society, but while there, she experiences a lower reiatsu regeneration and bodily healing. She will also eventually sicken, and further down the line die if she does not return to a place packed with reiatsu.
Fight or Flee: When confronted with a Hollow, she feels a base compulsion to either destroy it, or put as much space between it and her as physically possible, until it is out of sight preferably. When it comes to pure Hollow energy as in a hollow it's self or an Arrancar, she is more likely to fight, and try to grind it to tiny bits. Vizards though give her completely mixed feelings though. She prefers to flee when it comes to them because she knows in her head that it is actually a Shinigami. She feels the compulsion to attack them, but a long, long life of fleeing from shinigami usually gets the upper hand, and instead of attacking, her experience wins out and she gets as far as possible, as fast as possible from the confusing (or confused) person.
Fighting Style: When Naiya is sealed, she prefers close combat. She will loop a single spiral of chain around her hands and use gravity to her advantage while bringing every striking point she can to bear on her opponent. If they will not allow a close range fight, she uses thrown crystal shard weapons for mid range and destruction crystal kido spells for cover until she can either successfully use a spell of binding, and defeat her opponent at her leisure, or get in close enough to pummel them to unconsciousness if they insist on staying at long range.
Her Unsealed fighting is not too much of a drastic change than her sealed. She prefers to keep an opponent at mid range with her serpentine chained knives, slowing them down with gravity each time her edges score upon flesh or steel. she uses the chains as shields to bind and weigh down her opponent if they try to get in close, and crystal Kido if they go too far. When unsealed she is a bit more deft at weaving together crystal kido spells to bind and hurt at the same time. her attacks don't slacken.
In Bankai, her tactics change drastically. She is more beast and zanpakto at that point, and it shows in how she fights. She uses the creation of the condensed crystal she can make as a shield, deflecting physical attacks, and uses them as prisms to redirect pure reiatsu attacks back to their user. When not being employed as a shield, she attacks with the growing crystal as spikes from different directions.

Naiya's zanpakto is very unique. It isn't made of metal, in any of it's forms, but of a condensed reiatsu crystal that is made form Oshi herself. When sealed, Naiya looks as she does normally, but under the robes, she has a pair of condensed reiatsu crystal bracelets, studded with short bladed spikes, that are shaped like manacles. They are six inches wide and an inch thick, covering much of her wrist and forearm. Within the bracelets, from wrist to forearm seems to have what looks like an intricate Celtic snowflake design which nearly wraps from top to bottom. Oshi doesn't know what that is exactly made of, but to her it looks like an intricate crystal within the crystal, or a tattoo, that is, instead of in her skin, above it. Connected to each of those bracelets are a pair of extremely long chains, pulled taught against her body spiraling up her arms, around her torso and even down her legs. These chains act somewhat like a sparse armor that does well against slashes, but each circling is far enough apart from one another that a stab would more likely than not go through, unless the stabber is unlucky that day. All of this is hidden quite well under her baggy kimono, but she can slip the first spiral of links over her fist and use it like a knuckle weapon to add weight to her punches.
Shikai:
Release Phrase: A shinigami says something to call their zanpakto's consciousness to be more aware. Naiya isn't keen on talking to herself, so she says nothing, and just focuses.
Shikai Description: When Naiya invokes her shikai, she is silent, but seems to blaze with the building pressure of her spirit. Usually she has a single loop of chain within her hands, making it easier for the chains to slowly unwrap from her body and slither completely into her huge billowing sleeves. they stay coiled there for a while, until they are completely unwrapped from Naiya. When they are, they slip from her sleeves, hard to see, except for the bending of the light that passes through them. They rise to her sides as if they were four long headless snakes. When they have risen above her head, a sound like the reverse of breaking glass fills the air around Naiya. The sound is caused by the quickly growing double bladed daggers which are forming connected to the last most link at the end of each chain.
The daggers that form are nearly two and a half feet long. The blades just as transparent as the chains that bind them to Naiya. There is a little difference in the handles of the daggers, being made of a darker stuff, a slightly smokey and more highly condensed reiatsu. Because they were the first part of the dagger being made, they hold the emotion and extra reiatsu that Naiya had at the time of their creation, and the color of the handles are slightly tinted with that color before it becomes clear again. Usually it is a slight burgundy color for anger, but sometimes a forest green smoke is trapped in them, if she was jealous at the time. If she was sad, the smoke would contain the dark blue color of a storm's rain. But the most unlucky color of all would be if the smoke was black, because that would indicate a pure hatred at the time of their creation, and they would be employed like never before.
The blades themselves look like a quartet of bared fangs in a huge snake's mouth when looked at one way, then the entire snake's head when looked at in another, either way they resemble a crystal chain snake of nightmares, with the chain being the body. They grow with clear designs, only seen because of the way they bend the light differently, and are never the same twice. No one except Oshi herself has ever seen the patterns up close for any period of time, because they move quite fast, and tend to take out the eyes that aren't smart enough to study the whole instead of the design part.
The links in the chains are the exact same as they were before, only animated, weaving back and forth as if they were a snake, making no noise, unless bidden, because they are taught against one another. When they are bidden to make noise though, it makes a, unforgettable rattling sound as if someone had annoyed a rattlesnake made of diamonds, with fangs to match, and a weighty poison. The chains themselves seem to be of an adjustable length, between fifteen feet and fifty, but that is just the difference when the chains bunch before striking and when they are pulled to their maximum length. The bracelets that connect the chains to Oshi are the same as they were in her sealed form, tight against her forearms, from just below her wrist, nearly to her elbows, with the design halfway buried in their thick and crystalline depths, and the chains connected to either side of both of the bracelets.
Shikai Abilities: The same as her Racial Abilities, only slightly more powerful.
Reiatsu Manipulation - Crystallize: The reiatsu she condenses forms more quickly, and has a slightly larger diameter (40 feet)
-Crystal Properties: The crystal she makes while in this form is more dense and more firmly hers. She can choose to scatter the reiatsu that touches it, or redirect where it is going.
Crystal Shards: Naiya can use the reiatsu of the shards to propel them when she is in shikai form. The shards very slowly get smaller when they are used in this way, but they can float, change direction, or speed while in flight. Also she can will the shards to explode with by setting conflicting points of reiatsu within the shards. This causes high speed shrapnel and a small reiatsu explosion, which is about ten times the size of the shard(Kunai 5 foot explosion, caltrop 2 feet needle 1 foot)
Crystal Kido: The kido is the same strength, but she can use the shards that are within twenty feet of her as sources of reiatsu.
Shikai Techniques: Techniques are an invention of the shinigami, therefore she has no 'Named' techniques... She isn't one for telling someone what she is going to do before it hits them, she is the product of a self imposed outlawed lifestyle.
Bankai:
Bankai Activation: To slip into Bankai, Naiya must remove her black crystal earrings and sphere necklace.
Bankai Description: When Naiya removes her jewelery, a few things start to happen. Her Reiatsu flares up perceptively, oppressing those of weak reiatsu even at a distance, and giving pause to even those of high reiatsu in her general vicinity. Naiya's daggers and chains slowly sift away into sand, from the tips of the daggers down to her bracelets, then even the bracelets themselves, leaving two small crystal sand dunes topped with a smattering of black crystal dust. The black crystal dust is from the tribal snowflakes that are embedded in her armlets, and are actually her shinigami's reiatsu, used in a last effort to help her control her reiatsu so she can live a somewhat normal life. Naiya's skin bleaches completely white, then becomes translucent as does the rest of her, spreading from her hands, up her arms and to the rest of her body. Naiya is then lit with an inner turquoise glow as her entire body becomes a flowing version of the condensed reiatsu crystal that is her zanpakto. From here, Naiya has many options of the form of her bankai zanpakto by manipulating exactly how her crystal grows. Here are her preferred forms, but the limit is only her imagination in truth.
Kouseki Megami: Naiya's body grows significantly if not much in height then in apparent age. The changes are not too hard to see being that her facial features and body shape becomes less girlish and more womanly, filling out in all the right places, as only a goddess should. By the time she is done, she is a well endowed woman of the apparent age of twenty, at the height of nearly six feet at the top the coils of crystal needle and hook hair. There is an even more obvious change though. As befitting a Crystal Goddess, three sets of wings sprout from her back, growing at a prodigious pace, curling around her as a crystal feather cocoon for a moment before opening up, the top set are the largest of the three, curving high overhead then out to the sides, increasing her height (if you count them) to nearly twelve feet. The middle set is smaller than the first ones. The second set's line curves downward from their point of origin, then swoop back upward gracefully before the bend, which follows the curve of the larger set behind them. Last, and least, the third set is angled downward, enveloping Oshi's legs with large clear pinions. Under all the clear feathers, the thicker crystal that had grown to thicken Naiya's skin becomes opaque and seems to shed slightly in layers of flowing crystal robes that are fit for a goddess of her caliber. She wears only one accessory, and that is above her head, a simple crystal ring glowing with a yellowish emotion that is called confidence. In Naiya's hands grow a pair of crystal scimitar that are wickedly curved for the eventual passing of judgment.
Kouseki Kitsune: For this form, when Naiya's body has turned to crystal she sends out questing spires of crystal from her body, twelve feet in every direction, lifting her from the ground. Those spires quickly thicken, then merge around her, encasing her completely in crystal. The rough sphere of crystal also expands, a little in width, but mostly in length until it is nearly thirty feet long. Naiya is a pale blue visage deep within the crystal as a piece in front curves upward,and expands into a second rough sphere. Four more spires burst from the bottom of the entire structure, raising it from the ground as one, two, then a third graceful cone arches from the back and swoops down nearly to the ground. By the time that finishes another near cone which is split in have thrusts it's self from the front of the upper sphere just as two more do the same at angles from the top. Now, It should be quite clear, to anyone who is bad at art, that this form is some kind of canine. Naiya has to concentrate to move the turquoise blotch that she is, from the center of the body, up into the neck so she can better see what she is doing, but when she does, around the entire construction pieces of crystal falls away, revealing more and more detail of the crystal beast she has become. Finally, just a fine mist of crystal dust suffuses the air around the no longer rough hewn canine. It now stands, as proud as any of it's living relitives, a colossal three tailed fox, in every minute detail, down to the fine crystal needles of it's luxuriant brush. The difference between this fox and any other, of course, is it's triple tails, it's composition, and it's size.The size of the fox is, of course adjustable but she starts at fifteen times the size of a normal fox. (30 feet tall at the top of the ears, and 45 feet long, including tail)
Bankai Abilities: The powers of her follow the line as they were, just bankai powered.
Reiatsu Manipulation - Crystallization: Nayia's ability to crystallize things hits a creshendo here, and she can, with a continual touch of her own new body, start to crystallize objects that have awareness. This effect is extremely slow if the target is unwilling though, taking about fifteen seconds for each square inch of the target. Any and all of Naiya's crystal can grow in any or all directions if she wills it, by absorbing and condensing even the reiatsu in the air around it. The growth rate of the crystal varies with distance. The crystal that she touches grows at a massive rate of 6 inches per second. This growth is reduced to an inch a second if she is not touching the crystal but it is within fifty feet, an inch every fifteen seconds if further than fifty feet but closer than one hundred yards. Anything further than that grows at a snail's pace at an inch each minute.
Naiya's body though slightly different than the shards is actually growing at all times even if she is taking a larger form. Once her form is set in her mind though, she unconsciously works against this effect producing a weightless mist of crystal dust that suffuses the air around her, leaving a crystal trail behind her, or filling the air if she is in an enclosed space
Crystal attributes: Naiya Now, if the shards are propelled Oshi unconsciously makes them grow while moving, by the amount they would reduce, and can move them much faster without them shrinking. Freed from her shinigami's constant supression, the quality of the shards and the crystal it's self is much more potent Now any pure energy source that touches them can also be absorbed into them, causing a huge spurt of growth in the direction that Naiya commands, or be used as a much more potent spell.
Crystal Kido: Now that the crystal is completely a part of her, the kido that she would use is the same power as normal kido would be, but the power of the spell depends on the size of the shard.
